Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support the planning, analysis, documentation, and implementation of a new Unified Communications platform. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into clear system requirements, facilitate solution discussions, and ensure alignment across project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work closely with business analysts, developers, testers, architects, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Support the development of Statements of Work for system integration and platform implementation activities
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders
- Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed System Requirements Documents
- Create process flows, system impact assessments, functional specifications, and documentation artifacts
- Identify and document functional and non-functional system requirements
- Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to development and delivery teams
Solution Design & Collaboration
- Identify stakeholders and collaborate with Information Systems teams to design effective solutions
- Facilitate solution design sessions with developers, architects, analysts, and QA teams
- Create screen layouts, wireframes, and user interface mockups to support development
- Conduct peer reviews and incorporate feedback into requirements documentation
- Support teams throughout the full solution lifecycle
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead requirements walkthroughs with development and testing teams
- Review test coverage and help prioritize QA scenarios
- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Validate that delivered solutions meet documented business and system requirements
Project Support & Governance
- Track deliverables, milestones, and requirements-related activities
- Provide effort estimates and support project planning
- Manage change requests and maintain requirements traceability
- Support governance processes and ensure documentation accuracy
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements
- Experience creating SRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and related documentation
- Ability to facilitate requirements workshops and solution design discussions
- Experience supporting SDLC methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience working with developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telephony infrastructure or Unified Communications platforms
- Familiarity with technical architecture diagrams and system integration concepts
- Experience supporting enterprise technology transformation initiatives
- Knowledge of requirements management and change control processes
- Experience with wireframes, screen mockups, and UI documentation

This is a remote position.
