Role Overview
We are hiring a Deployment Engineer to support hosted environments through deployments, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, document thoroughly, and improve operational efficiency through automation.
Technologies
Windows, Citrix XenApp, Active Directory, SQL Server, VMware vSphere, NetApp, SolarWinds, Jenkins, Chef (and related tooling).
Responsibilities
- Deploy, support, and maintain hosted environments; perform upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting.
- Test and refine runbooks; ensure documentation stays accurate and actionable.
- Improve workflows and automate recurring operational activities.
- Support implementation and upgrade projects with detailed plans and documentation.
- Collaborate with distributed team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong Windows administration experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting Windows/Citrix/VMware-hosted environments.
- Understanding of scripting/automation (Chef, Jenkins, shell scripting).
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and execution quality.
- Able to balance operational support and project deliverables on schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Nice to have: APX, Moxy, Geneva administration experience.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
