Position Overview
This position involves the administration and support of the SAP landscape, including SAP ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and related SAP systems. The SAP Basis Administrator will work in collaboration with other IT teams to ensure the smooth functioning of SAP environments, perform system migrations and upgrades, and support ongoing projects such as S/4HANA implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Perform daily operations to monitor and maintain SAP systems, including applying patches, support pack upgrades, and system refreshes.
- Performance Monitoring & Tuning: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide capacity planning for the SAP landscape.
- Upgrades & Migrations: Support and manage key system migrations (e.g., SLES15 migration, PI 7.4 to PO 7.5) and upgrades to S/4HANA, NetWeaver, HANA, and other SAP systems.
- Collaboration: Work with networking, security, and infrastructure teams to implement solutions that improve the reliability and performance of the SAP environment.
- Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Ensure SAP systems meet high availability and disaster recovery standards (Serviceguard knowledge is a plus).
- Incident Management: Provide 24/7 on-call support for system issues, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Create and maintain system documentation, including system design, requirements summaries, and troubleshooting guides.
- System Copies & Refreshes: Support SAP landscape strategy through system copies, system refreshes, and managing system environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including ECC, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and S/4HANA
- Hands-on experience with SAP upgrade and migration projects (including S/4HANA upgrades)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for performance issues in SAP environments
- Familiarity with SAP infrastructure design, including server and storage management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to execute in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of ITIL best practices, incident response, and change control processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
